Meet our Birds

This  beautiful Rooster is Cogburn. He is our main man in our Black Copper Marans pen. He came from very dark egg lines. He is also put over a few of our blue egg layers to make our F1 Olive Eggers. He plays a very important role in our breeding program at the farm. 

Rufio is one of the Roosters in our Homestead pen. He is an Ayam Cemani/Black Copper Marans cross. He got his name from his two copper feather mowhawks on both sides of his comb

One of the OG birds who started it all. Fancy Pants came from Pine Leaf Poultry, we got her as a chick from their rainbow pen. She Lays the most beautiful dark olive eggs with heavy speckles. She is known to be a shadow if we are out in the yard. She is sure if she follows the kids, they will give her treats. 

HEY HEY! One of our Roosters in the rainbow pen to help throw big speckles. Heyhey was hatched in one of our first incubator tests on the farm. He came from a beautiful medium brown/mossy egg with large dark cow like spots. 

Meatball is one of our Black Copper Marans roosters from dark egg lines. This fellow is a big lovebug he is such a gentleman to his ladies. He resides in our rainbow pen to darken some of our backcrosses. 

One of our Black Copper Marans girls. She lays one of the darker eggs that we get and she also throw some big speckles every now and then. She has the sweetest temperament.
